Admin access

There are three ways to register...

On-line

Note: if you cannot use a creditcard for payment then please attend one of the in-person registration days or mail in your form and payment.  Online registration without a credit card is only by prior arrangement with the SYSA, contact the registrar.

You will need the players' care card#, visa or m/c#, date of birth, and email address.  If you didn't register last year you will have to create a user id and password by clicking on New User.  Otherwise, players/parents from last year please use the login info provided last year.  Please use the same login info for all family members.  If you can't remember your login info there is a link on the registration system to get it sent to you.  CLICK HERE to go to the registration system.

In person

You will need players' care card#, date of birth, and preferrably an email address.  Payable by cheque, money order, or cash (not recommended).  New players please bring a birth certificate.  Registration will take place on the following dates:

  • June 7th at Brennan Park Leisure Centre from 6pm - 8pm
  • June 10th at Brennan Park Leisure Centre from 6pm - 8pm
  • June 17th at Totem Hall from 5pm - 7pm

Save some time, fill out the registration form ahead of time and take it with you.

Registration Guidelines & Fee Policy
All players may be asked to provide proof of birth date with registration for the season.
Registration closes June 30th to allow for team formation.

Late Fees & Registrations

  • A late fee of $25.00 will be enforced and charged to all registrations accepted after June 30th. Registration and late fees must be paid immediately to ensure registration is complete.
  • The late fee does not apply to new residents who have recently moved to Squamish. Proof must be provided.
  • Players registering after June 30th are not guaranteed a spot on a team. If no positions are open, the player can opt to be put on a wait list. 


Team Placement

  • Players registering after June 30th are not guaranteed a place on a team. If no positions remain open, player can opt to be put on a wait list.
  • Registrations received by the deadline date: Teams will be made up of players in the same age group and same gender (ie. U7 girls, U11 boys, etc.) Players from the same family and same age group are placed on the same team, others are placed to balance the teams as closely as possible.
  • If a team is short players, then a late registrant may be offered a place on a team.
  • Players must go through the SYSA office to be placed on a team, not through a team’s coach.
  • Requests to have your child placed on a specific team or kept with friends will not be considered.

Refunds & NSF Charges

  • All requests for refunds must be in writing stating player’s name, address, and date of birth. Requests can be emailed or mailed to the Treasurer of SYSA, Box 287, Squamish, BC, V8B 0A3.
  • Refunds will not be issued after the season has commenced without a note from a doctor. No refunds will be issued at all after Jan. 1st.
  • All refunds will be subject to a $20.00 admin. fee.
  • A $20.00 charge will be applied to all NSF payments. Registration will not be complete and player will not be placed on a team until registration and all fees are honored.


Equipment & Start-up Details

  • House players will need cleats, shin guards, black shorts. 1 pair of soccer socks will be provided. A $25.00 uniform deposit will be collected by the team manager or coach early in the season.
  • League details, schedules, and start-up information will be on the SYSA website in late August. The player’s coach will contact you during the last week of August or the first week of September.
