Admin System How To's

Below are some common coach/manager tasks and how to do them.

Access your team's info page, including player list and contact info.

Send email to your players.

Update a player's contact information.

View a player's previous evaluations.

View summary report of players evaulations.

Do a player evaluation.

Remove/add your phone number from the Team Contact Lists.

Update your personal information (e.g. contact info).

Add team manager, assistant coach, etc. to team page.

 


 

To access your team's info page, including player list and contact info do the following:

  1. Login to the SYSA admin system (Click here to login).
  2. Click on Show My Teams.
  3. Click on the Edit link at the end of the team line you wish to see the details of.
  4. Scroll down the page to find the information you're looking for.

 

To send an email to all the players on your team do the following:

  1. Login to the SYSA admin system (Click here to login).
  2. Click on Coach Player Email.
  3. Select the team you want to send email to, then click the Post button.
  4. If you only want to send an email to one player then select the player from the drop down menu which currently says Send to All Players.
  5. If you want to send the team list to the player(s) then click the Include Team List checkbox (default is to NOT send the team list).
  6. Enter the email subject text.
  7. Enter the email message text.
  8. Click on the Send button when your done.

 

To update a player's contact info do the following:

  1. Login to the SYSA admin system (Click here to login).
  2. Click on Show My Teams.
  3. Click on the Edit link at the end of the team line you wish to see the details of.
  4. Scroll down to the player list, find the player and click on the Edit link to the right.
  5. Update the contact info.
  6. Click on the Post button when done.

 

To view a player's previous evaluations do the following:

  1. Login to the SYSA admin system (Click here to login).
  2. Click on Show My Teams.
  3. Click on the Edit link at the end of the team line you wish to see the details of.
  4. Scroll down to the player list, find the player and click on the Edit link to the right.
  5. Scroll down to the evaluations.

 

To view a summary report of player evaulations do the following:

  1. Login to the SYSA admin system (Click here to login).
  2. Click on Player Evaluation Summary.
  3. If you coach multiple teams select the team whose summary you wish to view.
  4. Select a data ordering/display method.
  5. Click on Post.

 

To do a player evaluation do the following:

Player evaluations are usually done near the end of the season.  Coaches will be informed of when the evaluations should be completed by.  Evaluations are an important tool to help the division coordinators form balanced teams for next season.

  1. Login to the SYSA admin system (Click here to login).
  2. Click on Show My Teams.
  3. Click on the Edit link at the end of the team line you wish to see the details of.
  4. Scroll down to the player list, find the player and click on the Edit link to the right.
  5. In the evaluation form you use a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) in four areas, plus a comments section.
  6. Double check your evaluation because they can't be deleted or changed.
  7. Click on Post when done.

 

To remove/add your phone number from the Team Contact Lists do the following:

  1. Login to the SYSA admin system (Click here to login).
  2. Click on Coach Administration.
  3. Scroll down to the Hide phone # on contacts page line.
  4. To hide your phone number make sure the checkbox is checked.  To add your phone number make sure the checkbox is not checked.

    NOTE: You must provide at least one point of contact (an email or phone number).  If you hide your phone number you must not hide your email address from the contact list, and vice-versa.

  5. Click on the Post button to save the changes.

 

To update your personal information (e.g. contact info) do the following:

  1. Login to the SYSA admin system (Click here to login).
  2. Click on Coach Administration.
  3. Make desired changes.
  4. Click on the Post button to save the changes.

 

To add team manager, assistant coach to team page do the following:

To update the team info page you will have to contact your division coordinator.  Only they have the ability to update the team page (e.g. add/change assistant coaches, team manager, etc.).
