The Squamish Youth Soccer Association (SYSA) is a volunteer, not for profit, organization with the objective of providing the youth of Squamish from the ages of 5-17 the opportunity to play soccer. SYSA provides this opportunity to approximately 1000 youth annually. There are two streams the organization manages, house and travel. Players can only participate in one stream in a season.
The house stream/league is open to all children and its focus is learning, playing, and fun. The house league plays on Saturdays and the season runs from September - November, breaks for the worst of winter, then resumes mid-February and ends in early April. The league has separate divisions for boys and girls which aggregate several age groups (e.g. U7 for 5 & 6 year olds).
