The Squamish Youth Soccer Association (SYSA) is a volunteer, not for profit, organization with the objective of providing the youth of Squamish from the ages of 4-17 the opportunity to play soccer. SYSA provides this opportunity to approximately 1000 youth annually. There are two streams the organization manages, house and travel.
The house league is open to all children and its focus is learning, playing, and fun. More information about the house leage can be found on the House Teams page of our website.
The travel stream is more competitive and involves playing against teams in the lower mainland. It progresses from Prospects (8&9 year olds), through Development (10&11 year olds) to Select (12-17 year olds). More information about these can be found on the Travel Teams page of the website.
2015 BC Soccer Scholarship Applications Are Now Being Accepted
BC Soccer is proud to award scholarships every year to players and referees proceeding on to post-secondary education. For more information on applying for a scholarship click here.
U18 Girls - England Challenge
In April 2014, the Squamish U18 Girls soccer team was challenged to win their Division 1 Title in the BC Coastal Girls Soccer League in what is the final year for many players. If they could do it, their coaches agreed to organize an opportunity for the girls to compete in England during their March break.
